Silva has already cleaned out the middle weight UFC division.  He could leave the UFC and still say he is the best middleweight.  Mir has not.  If he left the UFC and became the Strikeforce heavyweight champ, he would not be able to say he is the best, because he has not yet beaten the best.

Is it really that hard to understand ???

Sometimes things dont workout when your negotating with Zuffa / well Dana white...
look at hendo.. they couldn't agree on a new contract...
Hendo in my opinion is not reject...
that could happen with any fighter including the big guys...
GSP,spyder,Brock etc.....

Dont agree with the UFC reject use of the word..

or at least the way Weightpshr tries so hard to discredit every fighter that is not under zuffa / ufc.. ;)

You are right...Hendo is not a reject. He decided to walk away from the UFC. He could have stayed if he wanted.

Werdum....well, do I need to explain myself again.

Regardless, Werdum has hardly earned a shot at the supposed #1 HW in the worl.

Rampage is done with the UFC when his contract is over, because he said dana "lied to him", I wouldn't put it passed him to jump ship at some point in the future.  That wouldn't make him a reject, especially if he beats Rashad and jumps ship.  I'm watching Strikeforce challengers right now and they said expect some sort of announcement on Monday, probably regaurding the April event.  Mousasi vs. King mo is a solid fight that is probably gonna go down that night, both fighters would easily be in title contention if they fought in the UFC.  Overeem is the champion in Strikeforce, he refuses to fight on US soil and is trying to get Fedor to fight him in Japan in Dream so he can avoid being caught on roids.  BTW, Tarec Saffiedine (170) and Luke Rockhold (185) are solid up and comers that looked as sharp as ever tonight, definately fighters to keep an eye out for along with Tyrone Woodley.  I would go as far as to say Tyrone Woodley will be in the top 10 at 170lbs in a year or two's time.  Oh wait, you guys don't recognize or appreciate any fighter outside of the UFC, what mess :(

I agree...Rampage would not be a reject because he chooses to leave. I agree Mousasi is one of the best outside of the UFC and I expect him in the UFC when his contract is up. Dana said he would like to sign him when he is free from a contract.

Now King Mo as a title contender in the UFC.HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHHAHAH!! You lost a lot of credibility with that statement right there.  Unbelievable comment.

Care to defend yourself on King Mo. Here take a look:

Win      Mike Whitehead      KO (Punches)      Strikeforce - Evolution      12/19/2009     1     3:08
 Win    Mark Kerr    TKO (Punches)    M-1 Global - Breakthrough    8/28/2009    1    0:25
Win    Ryo Kawamura    Decision (Unanimous)    Sengoku - Seventh Battle    3/20/2009    3    5:00
Win    Yukiya Naito    TKO (Punches)    Sengoku - No Ran 2009    1/4/2009    1    3:54
Win    Fabio Silva    TKO (Punches)    Sengoku - Sixth Battle    11/1/2008    3    0:41

What's so unbelievable?  I see 4 UFC veterans and 2 Pride veterans on that list along with a King of Pancrase.  In 2008 he was the number 1 ranked wrestler in the United States, he's one of the most decorated wrestlers active right now, he fights at both LHW/HW, he comes from a good camp, plus he can throw hands.  You make it seem like everybody that's ever fought for a title in the UFC actually deserves to do so, look at Dan Hardy.  Brock Lesnar was 2-1 and they gave him a title shot.  Shane Carwin's only real win is against Napao and Frank Mir has a horseshoe up his ass.  Time will tell son.

I don't even know what to say about that. 2009 Kerr a respectable opponent ::) Who cares if Mo is a top ranked wrestler...this is MMA.
Mo has not beaten anyone even close to the talent the UFC has, let alone being deserving of a title shot.
If you can say that Mo even has a chance of beating Silva or any UFC HW, you have got to get into another sport. It is apparent that you really don't understand how the sport works.

Please, don't let your UFC hate cloud your thinking. It is no fun to sit here and debate with someone that would be better off watching golf or tennis.

LOL. You got me all figured out...so shameful to like the UFC. I watch all MMA, but unfortunately no other org has the ability to stay in business put on shows of the same quality and frequency as the UFC. You don't have to agree with me...but most MMA fans do.

King Mo is one of the many top prospects out there that is not in the UFC, to say he couldn't beat any UFC HW is actually pretty funny.  It is MMA, not wrestling, but it seems the top of the HW division in the UFC is made up of decorated wrestlers (Lesnar,Velasquez,Carwin)  For Lesnar (a guy with no stand up to speak of) he's relied on his offensive wrestling and size almost exclusively, and he's the champ.  The only wrestler he's fought he outweighed by 60lbs and still got he taken down.  You are apparently high on the fumes from your new tapout gear because I don't know of any top UFC HW with the last name of Silva.  It baffles me that you actually think every fighter in the UFC is unbeatable compared to other org's.

I was referring to your statement that Mo fights at LHW as well as HW with the Silva comment. Just using him as an example. He would get handled by Machida too. All the HW you mentioned have recent knockouts on their records. Sorry you don't like the UFC...but quit discrediting yourself defending Mo. It is almost getting embarrasing to respond to you regarding Mo.

Weightpsher probably started watching MMA when the UFc first debuted on Spike about 3 or 4 years ago  ;D ;D

He doesn't get it that theres a lot of great fighters in all weight divisions all over the world...
but because The mighty UFC doesn't sign them or their not seen on TV / PPV...
their Rejects.... ;D

Hey Weightpsher do yourself a favor an educate your self....
type MMA fights on youtube....  ;D
that way you can be a little bit smarter with your UFC guy comments...

So you think King Mo is a possible contender with his record of opponents? Second, let's say I did just start watching MMA 4 years ago, what good would it do me to watch fights or events that were 4+ years ago? The game has changed, fighters have changed. There are new orgs, new fighters, etc. I welcome the change. No matter what I 100% know that I know more about MMA then you do, but who really cares.

Another thing I have stated many times is that I like all MMA, not just the UFC. Because I think Fedor is dodging top competition makes me an idiot huh? If you ever visit any other MMA boards you will realize that you are the one who would seem abnormal.

Either way...I welcome the few on here to chime in with the UFC hate and guy comments. I find it entertaining that someone could actually get that worked up over an org that 'ruined the sport' and took away all the fancy entrances and sparkling lights.

Be honest, are you still upset that they owned the MMA world by buying Pride?

They would only be rejects if they were ever in the UFC and they were let go due to poor performance like Werdum...the guy that is fighting the supposed #1 HW ranked HW in the world.  Maybe one of these guys in this Texas show will be fighting Fedor after Werdum. Would not suprise me.

I agree with you though. Some of  the smaller shows have some great fights sometimes. We can agree on that.
