I don't really agree with him being more aesthetic than either of them tbh, unless like Branch Warren you equate aestheticness with smallness, in which case yes Mike Christian is more aesthetic. He had half the muscular thickness of either Dorian or Ronnie so he was less dense and less muscular, with much smaller legs than both and Shawn Ray also. I think Shawn is the best of the bunch aesthetically. I dunno, it all depends what year you're comparing it to.
I equate aesthetics to muscle shape, taper, proportion, bone structure, symmetry and an overall look of athletacism. Neither Dorian or Ronnie look like athletes, they look rigid and ungainly, there is no grace present. Like a racehorse or a panther a certain ammount of leaness has to be apparent, past a certain muscular weight this is not possible.
Shawn is destroying Dorian in that pic, how he didn't win a sandow god only knows.
Since time in memoriam the type of physique that has been celebrated is akin to a Shawn Ray or a Bob Paris. Dorian and Ronnie are just bloated overmuscled freaks really.
