Dorian is would be an awesome trainer but he has much better things to do with his time.

i just get it goin and pause it, go back to gb for a few to give it a head start.
interested to see it, kai has that low insert back,,, was surprised at the o he didn't really have the size tho,,,
and dorian was dorian so...

I just love when people try to overcomplicate lifting as long as you aren't doing the rep too fast or two slow but at a moderate pace it's not rocket science

end of the day, most of the stimulus is caused during the eccentric, or negative portion of a movement as this is where we are activating the most fibers, Dorian isn't exactly telling him to jump off a bridge.

funny getting through the 1st part dorian expalining the 3 sections to kai,,, as if he didn't know already... yeah a lotta bb's are dumb when it comes to training because sauce does a lotta work,,, like the other thread about the guy thats only been training for 4 yrs...
but kai is seems to know his stuff from past vids... actually its more of a production/directing issue in that dorian is seen as he is really "training" kai... which by everyones response to the vid,,, it was poorly executed... i didn't watch the whole thing yet,,, the 1st part with dorian is so weak it hurts...
just checkin bak here so i know what i'm in store for,,, guess it's gonna be much of the same with a lotta fast forward. lol

You are wrong. During the eccentric phase of movement LESS muscle fibers contract thus there is MORE force exerted on those fibers.

would like to hear more convo on mind set of dorian etc., than the actual machine mechanics... its a machine,,, you don't need that whole build up,,, coulda just said 1 2 3 ie count 1 posi 2 stati 3 negi,,, again, they could do more discussion intead of "acting"
dorian had a great back,,, kai has a unique back,,, do more training method bs instead. for these guys anyway.

IT's not a matter of less muscle fibers contracting, it's the way in which they are working that shifts.

I can't see the video cos I'm at work but it seems to me that Dorian is getting quite a rep now for good quality training advice to pros - people take his theories seriously, not necessarily because he was a six-time Mr Olympia, but, because of his no-nonsense approach to training and work-ethic. Kai probably knows his stuff too and doesn't come across as an egomaniac or anythign, but still, he could do a lot worse that listen to Dorian.
