Merrell Eagle suits my foot well.

And they go great with all my Eddie Bauer clothes.

It's a sad day when it suddenly dawns on you that your wardrobe consits entirely of hiking/outdoor pursuits clothing.

"but they're comfy"

I have Several Pairs of Gucci  (even from the Tom Ford Era) and they are in no way the quality of my Alden, Edward Green.

If you must go with Gucci look for the Tom Ford era or else you will just be getting garbage.

If you want the most comfortable casual shoe/Sneaker, I would go with Michael Toschi, specifically with the ones with the Carbon Fiber throughout the shoe.  Sometimes you can find them at around 350 or so but don`t be shocked if you see them for around 600 or 700.

Although I think Prada is pure crap as far as their manufacturing goes, I have had a ton of them, their Monte Carlo series are ok for sneakers, especially if you just want a beater.

Also check out Prada Car Shoe for comfort.  Car Shoe is A LOT better quality than regular crappy Prada Sport.

Funny I had the same thought so I asked.

Guy said in short:
It is the nessary function that the toes need to create a spread footprint *see pic*
The reason that this needs to be is for balance and calf/leg muscle support/development.

Having a shoe that is "encapsulated" won't ever achieve that result.

Does that help Show?

Interesting.  I hadn't really thought of that....I suppose they would look like clown shoes if you made enough room in the toes for that...hahah, not the look people are usually after.  I still might buy a pair of these.
