I think Ford has an optional package including side steps or nerf bars. I have never owned a Ford, but I  know chevy and toyota offer them optional on their full size trucks. Pretty cool truck although I'm a chevy guy.

Women can get the "syndrome" as well. I've seen a girl who is 4'11 get out of a Hummer H2. It makes no sense to me. I'm 5'5 and I drive a car. No trucks for me, unless it is the X5/X6 m, or a old Jeep.

I am a short guy, I have owned some lifted jeeps and also economy cars along with sports cars. People buy what they want to, it doesn't matter their height. Those lifted trucks make a 6 foot guy look short, so it doesn't matter...
