Bunning may not have presented himself well but he is right, any new expenses should be balanced by cuts.  Congress needs to adhere to pay as you go.  People made emotional gut reactions to the story.  If everyone in washington had ideas like this, we wouldn't have a climbing 12 trillion dollar deficit with no reasonable way to pay it off.

"pay as you go"?  so after decades of operating at a deficit all of the sudden its ok to cutoof unemployment benefits and health insurance.  its a prick move plain and simple.  like i said before, its easy to stand on principle when you aren't affected by it.

Yes, pay as you go...just like Pres Obama suggested.  With this degree of budget and national deficit, we must make cuts to offset any new spending.  Force the politicians to make real efforts to trim waste and stop abusing our tax dollars...those of us that work.

...And I oppose the deficit spending that happened under Bush too...and think we need a better, less costly strategy in the middle east and around the world.

i am 33....right now i'm studying hard for my CCIE(so i dont work often...only pick up a class when i need quick cash)....when i pass i'll be making about 5 times this idiot going after me makes...anyhoooo....

i admit...i have never cooked...never vacuumed (ok once for fun) or done laundry...my fiance and parents just take care of that for me....i live at home but 16 hrs out of that i'm  studying...so i dont see the point of owning a house ...who the heck is gonna clean it and cook? (i for the hell of me am lost in a grocery store...well i know where the frozen food isle is and the soda isle  )
point is...my parents worked hard...made it...dont want hand outs...i'm gonna make it...and my kids wont have to worry about $....what ever happened to capitalism!

CCIE is the way to go... I have a lot of friends that I work with that are CCIE certified making a lot of money and are in high demand. If you can pass the test and get Certified, congrats... Now! Get out of your mom and dads house and make some money..
