Well you can say that about the leg curl too. I don't remember having to lay on my back and push anything off me, so the bench press too is worthless as is the incline and decline. I can't remember the last time I had to lay on my back and lower something to my forehead and then press it back up (skullcrushers). Wow I could list all kinds of exercises that would be worthless then. So in your opinion how would we work these muscles. Just wondering
for lying leg curl...if youre on your stomach and someone is grabbing your ankles and legs and trying to pull you and hurt you, you would need your hamstrings to be strong so u could kick them away and get to safety.
for incline and decline press, if stuff fell on you you would need to push it off you so you dont die, or if u need to hold something above your head for along time like a structure or attic door or ladder...and for skull crushers if you are trapped somewhere deep or doing manual labor you might need to lower stuff to and from your forehead
