Ravens give up a 3rd and 4th pick for Boldin. Love this trade more than trading for Brandon Marshall. Boldin is not a cancer, Marshall is. Boldin just wants to win and he's a tough S.O.B. He definitely fits the Ravens persona, just a tough hard playing hoss! My man is cock-diesel! Welcome to the purple and black attack, Anquan!

I just hope he can stay healthy. He plays so hard on every down that you just hope he doesn't get injured laying a block on a sweep run play.

Absolutely horrible contract for the Lions with the signing of Burleson. He'll be a great addition on punt returns but that is it. Definitely not worth the kind of money he signed for.

The Kyle Vandebosh(no idea how to spell his name)signing is pretty good, though. That dude plays his ass off and absolutely jacked, physically. Ever seen the guns on that guy? Diesel!

Great moves by the Ravens so far with Stallworth and Boldin.  Huge upgrade.

Big waste of millions in an especially economy-stricken Detroit.

Hey...I'm a big fan of the city of Detroit! Your city is one of the heartbeats of Amercia. I was just hoping that they would spend a little wiser on offense. I like the Vandenbsoch signing a lot, though.

Selecting Suh at that high of a position is going to tie up a lot of millions and guaranteed money. The Stafford deal last season definitely broke the bank. If Detroit keeps selecting in the top 5 year after year, they'll be out of money to spend!

Man...I gotta say...I am so goddamn stoked about the Ravens offensive potential heading into the 2010 season. We are seriously going to be explosive and putting up a lot of points. They'll likely re-sign Mason to a 2 year deal and line him up in the slot with Bolding and Stallworth on the outside. On passing downs the defensive coverage rolls back and Flacco can just dump it off to Rice for huge gains all day long.

Our running game should be outstanding, conversely. Rice is a superstar in the making and Mcgahee is an absolute beast as a backup and goalline scorer(14 total TD's last year). Did I mention 2-time pro bowler, Le'Ron Mclain, yet?

Now the Ravens can concentrate on selecting a cornerback and a tightend with their draft picks in the 1st and 2nd rounds. I can't wait for next season!

If I'm not mistaken, he was given a first or second round tender. But he needs to be locked up, long term. The guy is an absolute beast. Much like Jonathan Ogden in size but a little lighter on his feet. 6'9" and 340 pounds and only 24 years old. He's definitely one of the cornerstones to the Ravens O-line. Gaither and Oher definitely have the potential to be among the best bookend tackles in the NFL.

Strange too because he was drafted in the supplemental draft in 2007. Local product out of the University of Maryland. Not highly touted coming out of college but between Gaither and Bruce Campbell, the Terps sure know how to recruit offensive tackles.

My co-worker thinks (not) TO should go to the Bears.   I think not. The last thing Jay needs is a TO.   TO should just come back home to Big D or retire.

Was it you, or another Raven's fan I tried to convince that Boldin was a perfect fit for you guys?

May have been me sometime last year. The Ravens could have gotten Boldin last season but he would have cost a 1st and a 3rd round pick. Too heavy a price that's why the Ravens didn't pull the trigger. Boldin is a perfect fit. He just needs to stay healthy. He gets hurt a lot because he plays so physical even on running plays.

But soooooo happy to have him. He really is the missing piece to the Ravens offense. Now we just need to select Gresham out of Oklahoma at TE and a decent CB in the second round. We're going to light up the scoreboard in 2010! Can't wait.

As long as Dallas gets Cody (all 370 lbs of him) I am happy.

Who cares how fat he is?  Its football not the Mr.O! The size is what we need in the middle. Dallas wants to move Ratliff to end and Cody will free up Ware, Spenc, and both ends!   Cody is better than Suh and McCoy at stopping the run.  I mean he CAN move.
