Portlock? That's some rich turf out there. I went to the elementary school in the area Koko Head Elementary. Sometimes we'd cut class and go to Hanauma Bay. At the time there was a trail through the mountains. I had a friend that use to live right behind the snack bar they had there. The place was kind of run down but man oh man you can bet that view. And to be able to snorkle whenever you want. That bay was, and is, like an under water aquarium. Good times then. Good times.

BTW, my mom is from the Philippines and most of my relatives are there. They worship Manuel over there. I didn't care too much for the fight. Clottey seemed more concerned with not getting hit and just covered up the whole time. He showed no heart and no fighting spirit. This was an opportunity of a life time and he just stood there. Funny thing is that he'll probably be bragging his whole life on how he went the distance with PacMan.

The only interesting thing about the fight when the announcers almost got into a beef and when that other guy started going, "Bang, bang! That's it. Going to hit me back? No? Here. Bang, bang." As Manny is just whaling on Clottey.

God, even Clottey's trainer/coach was pleading with him to throw some punches. I like wheh he told him, "Come on. This is a fight."

My ex actually bought one of the original homes there.  It was built back in 42 or so and the Pearl Harbor Base Commander lived there (his family), then he sold it to the next one who owned it up until she bought it back in 99 or so.  It is really nice.  Only about 2500 sq. ft. house but the backyard is about 10,000 sq. ft. and it has a really nice pool.  She wants me to move in.  So not sure yet.  I kind of want to move back to Honolulu Parkplace.  I loved that place and it is perfect.  Lived there for 4 years.  Can't beat that place.

I didn't know Tai Babilonia was filipino.  I spent some quality time with her in Reno in 1989.  She was stunning.  I know who she was but at the time I had no idea she was having all those problems.  I felt bad for her when I found out.  I moved to Hawaii about 3 months later
