Mass with class man. Dex's physique is the best out there taking everything into consideration. Mass, conditioning, structure/asthetics, shape, symmetry. You can't find any weak points on the man, except his calves.
Agreed. At that day. He was the winner and Mr.O. That is the truth.
But its a sad truth for me.

He looks great...but he looks like he did 10 years ago.  Show some changes.  Get some calves.  and a personality.  And quit begging the crowd to applaud, hit a pose or two instead of walking around the stage in slow motion.

This was a good show, i was there, the greek dude looked on point, kai was the fan favourite.
Atmosphere was great, no dickheads, just many fans showing support from overseas and interstate, got to meet Tony doherty and the othe pro's, but had my sights set on the promotion girl from one of the booths, a hardbody asian.

Went to Brunswick and trained at tony's gym, again it was filled with pro's and the gym looked fantastic.

Was that massive auditorium full? It's only $60 entry so 2000 paying people well lets just say it's a nice cash day.

Yes but with taxation, hiring the auditorium, lights & sound, athlete expenses (flights, food, tanning etc.), promotion and a myriad of other expenses it isn't so great.

Its obvious Tony is not doing it for a nice cash day.

That's why I rounded it out at $60 because you have cheaper but mostly more expensive tickets.$200 for tanning per person I thought a guy with a tanning lotion sponsored it and gave away FREE tan.

Why are you so concerned with the Australian Tax Office and this event?  Isn't the IFBB a not for profit organisation?

Non Profit that's a laugh how do you think they live? poorly? They don't give it back to the guys competing so someone is making a lot of non tax bucks.

Consider the sanction fees that Tony would have to pay the IFBB to hold an IFBB pro league event too... there really isn't "a lot of non tax bucks" in the end...

The show cost AU$120000 to put on.
It takes 3 months of my life, I dont see my wife and kids for the last month because I work from 6AM to 10PM every day, the last week is 5AM till Midnight. That is withoout getting an hourly rate or a definite pay day.
I have to put this all up front to make it work. Do the maths or run a show yourself if it is so easy and so profitable.
If it does fail, the buck stops with me. Some years I have done my nuts.

I for one have to say THANKS for putting on great shows.  I have buddies who have gone to yours and really enjoyed them.  If only there were more promoters like you around.

Wait for it....

Yes he was once a competitor and soon worked out that the more drugs you take the less money you make esp if from australia so he thought if I can promote I can make a lot more money and keep my kidneys.

I was not questioning his prior commitment to bodybuilding competition. I was intimating that you don't really have a clue as to his reasoning for ending his competitive career. In fact his prior status as a competitor probably explains why he does have such a unique connection with the sport. I see nothing but positivity coming from the work of Tony Doherty... I see nothing but negativity from yourself, Little John.

Just goes to show not all here know too much ask him for yourself.
You previously questioned the getbig collective about their general knowledge of bodybuilding. You made reference to Tim Belknap... I knew exactly who he was/what he did... Scram punk!
