That is correct, he was huge before synthol was even invented. His arms even had the exact same structure/shape. Also, I dont know where anyone even sees signs on synthol on his body. Cutler, Kai, Wolfe all look more synthol induced than Scott ever did. Besides, how is it possible for him to do 120lb dumbell curls if his arms are all synthol??? Dont understand why people completely overlook this guys genetics as well....? Keep the baseless jealous comments coming though they are indeed entertaining in the least.

superstar billy graham, that racist/homophobe "the ultimate warrior or Kerry Von Erich could do any of the stuff this stud can do

i will give props to Kerry though for helping make Lacey Von Erich..........oh, and that whole "wrestling with one foot" thing

Damn, I didn't realize his daughter wrestled! Just goes to show how long it's been since I watched.

I read an article in the local newspaper a couple years back about Kevin Von Erich's son when he was playing high school football and he said he was considering professional wrestling as well.

Looks like the ole Iron Claw gimmick might have another generation or two left in it.

Yet, Flair couldn't draw for shit when he arrived in the WWF in the early 90's.  So much so, that Vince took the strap off him shortly after he got the belt, and a short time later Flair went back to WCW.  Flair, for all of his alleged talent as a worker, had no clue about ring phsycology.  He'd work over an ankle for ten minutes, to suddenly stall the match with a rear chin lock.  For years, Flair was a big fish in the little pond called NWA/WCW.  He wrestled in front of empty seats, while the guys from up north sold out MSG.  Woooooo!

HOLY SHIT

You really are clueless, so here is a little lesson for you.  Flair was selling out arenas all over the world throughout the early to mid 80's when it was the NWA.  To put the two together shows what a WWF mark/homer you are.  Those two organizations were vastly different.  Flair when traveling with the NWA would go to different territories almost every night and put asses in the seats by putting over (whether winning or losing he ALWAYS put over the talent) the contender for the title. The WCW era was garbage and Flair was vastly underused.

As for his "no ring psychology" and not being able to work a match....are you f'n kidding me with that bullshit?  ALL the top workers consider him one of the top workers/performers of all-time....but hey "Mr. 1derful" on getbig thiinks he couldn't draw or work..... ::)

Now, go nuzzle your nose back in VKM's ass and leave discussion of wrestling to those who actually know a little about it, pal.  8)

I think it's obvious your a mark for the Nature Boy.  Nothing you have stated refutes that Flair couldn't draw and Vince pulled the belt off him.  Odd, for the guy who is allegedly the greatest of all time, wouldn't you say?  Flair couldn't sell out MSG.  Steamboat, as an example, was a far better worker than Flair.  Yes, Flair could be entertaining on the mic, but he usually reduces himself to a pseudo comedy act.  Flair is a classic "routine man", nothing more.  Chopping and "wooing", that's about it.  Oh, I forgot about the obligatory thumb to the eye. He may have had a few good years in the early 80's, but somehow everyone thinks that erases decades of deplorable matches and makes him the greatest?  Kurt Angle in his prime is better than Flair ever was.  Flair couldn't lace Angle's boots.  Not to mention that Flair stole his gimmick.  Ever hear of the Nature Boy Buddy Rogers?

Flair is broke and owes a ton of money to the IRS.  He also ripped of ROH for $40,000 worth of apperance fees that he was paid up front.  Vince gave him one of the greatest send offs ever, but instead of retiring with some class, he comes back time and time again, making a mockery of the send off he was given.  Flair's reputation as the greatest of all time is a complete work and a joke.

He was the first guy to bench press 700 lbs Ted Arcidi. I think is still around.
actually i think it was james williams from scranton pa and the pa penial system benched 700 lbs first, he was training partners for awhile with john kuc.

You really are clueless and a complete mark to think that the reason Vince would take the belt off of Flair is because he couldn't draw.  Around that time is when the belts, especially the WWF belts, were nothing more than a prop.  It wasn't based off of gates or attendance.  And to compare Steamboat to Flair shows you are some goof who started watching wrestling in the late 80's and is now an "expert."  Flair MADE Steamboat in the mid-atlantic territory.  I was there and saw it on weekly basis. Do a little research before you make a fool of yourself.

HBK, HHH, Austin, Hogan, Benoit, etc... have all said that Ric Flair is the greatest wrestler of all-time, but hey Mr. 1derful knows better than any of those guys.
And to knock Flair's promo's?  He is by far, the best of all time and nobody else is even close. Ask the guys in the business, and they will all say the same thing, but again Mr. 1derful knows more than they do cause he read somebodys opinion on Flair who had an axe to grind.  I would accuse you of being Scott Steiner, but you sound slightly more intelligent.

It's so obvious, like I pointed out before, that your nose is so buried in McMahon's ass that you can't see out.

Not for nothing but Cary is a HUGE money-mark and he would have been ripped off by a Legend sometime down the way.  I mean, that is why Money Marks exist- to be ripped off by Legends

also, Cary should think of it as Karma for having sex with his jobbers i.e. Alex Payne and Larry Sweeney (well, Larry wasn't a jobber but you get the picture)

Not to mention, how does any of that have a thing to do with Flair being a good worker or on the mic?

 I always thought Flair sucked.

I've been watching wrestling since the mid 80's and always thought Flair was stupid and obnoxious. Very repetetive and caveman-like. Whoo Whooo Whooo a million fucking times.

Back in around 2000 I was lucky enough to see him train arms at a gym in Toronto a few hours before a WCW PPV and I dont think I've ever seen anyone with arms that look like his lifting what he was. 200lb preacher curls, 365lb close grips, guys arms are freaky strong. He's also got a recent workout video/DVD posted on Youtube where it shows him doing the 120s fairly easily. F*$kin damn impressive for a guy in his late 40s.

whoa cool,,,  that vid must be kinda new,,, just checked those promo links out...

He was the first ever "big and bad" pro wrestlers, not to mention he was a huge powerful guy while his peers were all fat slobs ie Flair.

          Absolutely!

Before Superstar, a heel would only be a transitional champ, so another face could then win the strap back for the good guys.  But Graham held the title for 9 months, and I believe sold out Madison Square Garden everytime he headlined it.  He could have turned face and held the belt for a much longer time and remained popular.  Even staying a heel he was becoming the biggest attraction.

Vince McMahon admits he took the belt off him too soon.  But boring-ass Bob Backlund allowed the WWWF to develope more interesting heels to challenge for the belt.  Superstar could have easlily crossed over to part face like the Rock did 2 decades later.

All pompous heels owe a little to Gorgeous George, who I am sure helped inspire Buddy Rodgers.  But many many wrestlers patterned their persona off Billy Graham and Ric Flair. I think Flair himself admitted to borrowing some of Graham's act into his promos.  Superstar himself admits to bitting off of Muhamad Ali's style of rhyming about how good he was.

But many wrestlers copied Graham directly like Jessie Ventura, Hulk Hogan and Rick Steiner.  From ring attire, persona and big jacked physique.
