Juicing, is it worth it?
« on: March 11, 2010, 07:11:17 PM »
I've been training naturally all my life. Now my test levels are dropping and my 30s are approaching and i'm thinking about trying out the juice.

The thing is, I know that I only want to do light cycles occasionally. Because I travel so much, it would be very difficult for me to become a total juice monkey. I am only looking for solid gains that can be maintained naturally. I'm seriously just looking to use the drugs as a finishing touch to reach my own humble goals.

So what do you think? Is it worth it to do a light cycle here and there, about once per year or once per year and a half? Or should I just leave my body chemistry alone? I here lots of guys say that doing a light cycle here and there is not good, because it just sends your hormone levels on a rollercoaster ride.

 What do you think?

Skip the juice, and put some synthol in your arm. You will get much better results.

Why would you want to juice, it's just the finishing touch

Synthol looks like shit, when they get older it looks so terrible. Like Flex Wheeler, thin body and tiny shoulders with big bloated arms.

It's getting much more popular though.

No it's not worth it, especially since you won't be dedicated enough to get the most out of it. Train naturally, eat right and be happy. Juice should only be used by competitors. Not someone that wants to light cycle. Cycle right or don't bother.

Juice for for the first two months of summer.  Get lean while keeping the size.  Rule the beach/pool.  Then get off for 9-10 months.

I see Discrepancy , If your natural test are droping how can you look for solid gains that can be maintained naturally? think about it ....
100 % of drug monkeys are motivated by "the just one cycle to keep what i build "naturaly", sadly it doesnt work that way.

As soon as you get off the sauce the first thing you'll notice is that Juice is not the finishing touch!  nevermind your muscle shrinking and  skin looking thicker even when you're eating clean but you'll also feel like shit when you train and do cardio....

Not worthy, unless you find a good dealer that will always get you the same exact "supps' that you need but not for a cycle here and there .

Not hard these days. To the thread starter, steriods are a personal choice and if you come to a message board for affirmation

on whether to use them you should probably not use until you're mature enough or educated enough to understand the long-term

effects they may have.

I hear all the time from dealers (I dont have what youre looking for this week, but i have this wich pretty much does the same)
plus its ilegal, can be fake,or expired or different prices all the time.... so thats why my advice is to get a "decent" dealer If he ever decides to put artificial hormones in his body...its not a joke

Plus The guy is in his 30's he should be mature enough.

I've heard a lot of mixed things about this. Some people say that if your diet, excercise and rest are dialed in that you can gain and keep like 15 pounds of muscle off a cycle. While other people say you will lose it all. It's a very mixed message.

So what's the truth? We've seen guys like Levrone shrink down to nothing when coming off roids, but is that because that totally stopped lifting? Or is that more of the norm?

Personally, I have been lifting and keeping my diet straight for 15 years and i'm definitely consistent and disciplined about it. I don't plan on stopping lifting or slacking off for for sure.

Right now i'm floating from country to country. So finding a reliable dealer is out of the question. But I am about to settle down for a few months in a country that has lots of steroids and drugs so I was thinking about doing while out there. But then after that I might spend another year in a place with really strict drug laws, so it'll be natural again at that point.

Local dealer, pffttt. He obviously is not mature enough if he needs getbig approval to use steroids.

Yeah I know, it all comes down to my choice. Just looking for some other opinions and feedback. I have done my research but that final decision is tough. And like I said, in my research i've found a lot of mixed messages.

I don't need getbig approval. I'm more curious about what kind of gains I could expect from a relatively light cycle occasionally and if this approach is worth it.

Re-read my OP, there are specific circumstances to my situation.

If I was just chilling in the USA it would be a different story.

You cannot compare what you may gain to what another individual may gain. Goodluck with your quest.

How do you know your test levels are dropping when you're not even in your 30's yet? That's ridiculous - I think you're just looking for an excuse to take them.

If you're never going to compete then there's no reason why you should be using gear. You can build an outstanding physique by hard training and proper diet alone which will stand you out significantly from the general non-training public (and even those who do train). You've just got to man up and do the best you can with what you've got. Good luck.

I've seen photos like this before. But from what was said about it before, this guy probably TOTALLY stopped lifting weights and trying to maintain his muscles. But if he did keep on lifting he could have kept quite a lot of his mass.

I know a lot of guys who juiced a lot and seemed to keep a lot of their gains. I guess I have to just search for the truth myself.
