Why does the price of a cold drink at an Indian owned convenient store always go from the listed price of $1.99 at the shelf to $2.29 or more when the owner rings it up at the cash register?

Or is this just a phenomenon I have noticed?

It would be hard for MattC to come on here and defend white people on this issue when they are obviously getting ripped off and not even noticing it simply for their lack of 3rd grade level math skills, otherwise the store owner wouldn't be constantly doing this.

I used to live near a pretty big Indian rez in Cali, there were some big dudes and guys that juiced there. Lots of the guys were into getting huge and tatted up, smoking lots of weed, they were cool guys, really cool people.

Not competetive at all and not into pro BB, just into getting big and ripped. They had a local bodybuilding event on the rez for native residents only and some guys competed there. But it was just totally amatuer with a hundred dollar prize or something.

Good point. I don't know. Mental illness, I suppose. We all used to make fun of it, however, we all now know/have a relative who suffers from it. It's not so haha anymore.
