Off-day diet?
« on: March 13, 2010, 06:34:25 AM »
On the days you don't train, is your diet exactly the same on the days you do train? Or do you eat less meals (carbs, protein and fats)?

Yeah, I tend to eat only 3-4 / day insyead of 6-8....I do that once/week right now and actually have been for bout a year and 1/2....It's kept me maintained at same weight and BF% during this time...If I need to lean up, I'll clean up my one "cheat" day and start dropping BF......I'm about 15-17lbs over my "contest" shape....so, I figure I'm always within perhaps an 8 week diet of being "dialed in"!!!! LMAO ;D   Speaking of, when's the next Mr GB contest? Anyone???

Well, I didn't mean dieting per se  ::) I just meant do you follow the same eating patterns on off-days as you do on training days.

i always eat more junk food and total calories on my off days. i think it makes sense to feed your body the most when it has the best potential for healing(when its at rest)
