Some Old-School Ronnie Coleman

Here's some footage from the 1994 Olympia (I didn't know he shaved his head that year. I have footage from the 1994 San Francisco Pro, where he still had a flat-top). He placed 15th that year.



This one's from 1995, where he tied for 10th.

Ronnie was once a powerlifter in the ADFPA, according to MuscleMag. I wonder if there's any footage of his lifting at his mid-90s size.

I think Levrone started out as a powerlifter who decided to try his hand at bodybuilding. He was competing in a PL comp when he noticed a BB comp next door and decided to give it a try. Apparently he won.  Wonder if that story was just Weider hype or had some truth to it.

I know. He had Diana Dennis coach him on his posing for the 96 Mr Olympia (and possibly for a few more contests afterwards), but it didn't really help him much, lol.

Look at his routine in the 2004 Mr Olympia - he was all out of sync with the routine he'd prepared ;D

Not sure if he had any. Maybe Vicki Gates helped him out, cause they were together back then.

His posing was pretty bad (as the clips show) and I guess that's why he specifically recruited Diana Dennis for the 96 Olympia.

After further review, I don't think that's actually the 1994 Olympia. I'm quite sure Coleman didn't shave his head that year. He still had his flattop.
