Yep. People all cried foul when the Challenge Round was still used a few years back; Ronnie was challenged by EVERY SINGLE BBer onstage and won against all of them.

Why? It's called an "Ab & Thigh" pose, but not JUST those two parts are being viewed. How big of calves do you have? Ronnie's aren't the best, but they're bigger than Dex's and are better. Thighs? In that shot Ronnie's are bigger, more cut and have more vascularity to them. The waist I will give it to you that Ronnie's is wider and hanging over his trunks, while Dex's are still slim and not out of control like Ronnie. Ronnie's abs genetically suck-and Dex has always been known to have the "perfect set" of abs, but I dislike the shape and in that shot think Ronnie has better shape, oddly enough....

Go through each body part and compare them, and you can see why Ronnie won that pose against Dexter.

No its not photoshopped.  Like I said, practically every Mr. O competitor can show a round belly from angles like that when they are not holding it in.  That's why it's silly to use those type of pics when discussing who has the most distended stomach.

So none of them can hold it in at every angle every second of the contest, but the ones with the most distended stomachs are the ones who can't even hold it during poses like the side chest, front relaxed, ab thigh, etc.  That includes guys like Kovacs, Fux, the European guy that's posted in this thread (not sure of his name, but I think his is the biggest), Ruhl, etc.  Nasser on the other hand showed a very tight midsection in the ab-thigh and the other poses mentioned, and is the only guy under 6 feet at 280 or more lbs to be able to do this.

yeah like i wonder what happened to nasser, after that he seemed to go down hill. like he didnt really look good at the 1999 mr o, then he looked ok at the 2000 mr o then he couldn't place top 10 anywhere.

I will use age and failing memory as the reason I'm incorrect. I swore though that everyone beat Ronnie. Whatever, my point still stands...there is more than one or two muscles to look at when in any given pose. Just because so-and-so has a better pair of biceps in a FDB pose, doesn't mean he'll win that pose. Does he have the legs to match his upper body, or triceps to offset the biceps etc....

I agree with what you said. Just corrected that point about him winning all of the poses in the challenge round. He won all of them except for the abs n thigh with Jay Cutler.

And his gut was worse in 2003. The mags and forums were harsh about it and he worked on keeping it under control for 2004, even though he was heavier by 10 lb or so from 2003.

I never read your post and that's your consolation? it was tight when held?

I'm sure you at least read the topic of the thread then?  The question who has the biggest most distended stomach ever, and when you have several guys who can not even hold it in during poses, there is no reason to consider pics of guys who were able to hold it in during poses. 

Yates would be considered befor Nasser anyway

I don't claim Nasser had the biggest but he did have one and Dorian could hold his in when fully flexed , the problem with you guys is your like to cast stones from your glass house and it's always fun to bring you back to reality

My posts reflect reality in this thread - I named several guys who could not hold it in during poses, and did not even include Yates even though his 97 waist is debatable. 

Nasser is nowhere near having the biggest/most distended stomach
