Tre, this point is largely moot as the vast majority of criminal matters are disposed of via plea bargain (i.e. they plead guilty and agree to a sentence ahead of time).  I believe the number is around 90-95% in the federal system.

Yeah, but that is how land was acquired at the time - through force.  All races did it, but...white people did it better, so that makes us more violent? 

Yeah ok, so doing exactly what every race was doing but with greater proficiency makes us violent?  As for war, the same goes - every race fought in wars, whites just fought with greater proficiency which led to more deaths.  When Africans got a grasp on vehicular technology during the Rwandan genocide it was an extremely bloody one.  I do not believe it is a fair point to say that white people are more violent merely because they were more proficient at using weapons of mass destruction.  Other races attempted to do the same thing and it was not due to their morality that they were unable to do so.  They were merely not intelligent enough to grasp the technology.

Having said that, there are numerous very pleasant African American posters on this forum who I get along with very well.  I just happen to see no evidence that the multiculturalism social experiment in the western world today is a successful one.
