the first black presidents legacy
« on: March 21, 2010, 09:50:26 AM »
well its pretty sad that the first black president in american history is probably going to be known as the the one who perminently send america into the shitter.    I thought the black community was hoping for a better job from the history making president.

color doesn't matter shit.  obama/bush are 98% the same.

Obama's just securing his re-election bid by buying off the lower 20% at the expense of the upper 80%.

Bush secured his re-election by buying off the top 20% at the expense of the lower 80%.

He will go down as one of the worst. The people who called Bush the worst are going to look really stupid and deserve to be called out on thier stupidity. And the independents that voted for Obama are giong to be undestandablly slapping themselves for voting for him.

What's your point???  He's a politician and just like every other politician black or white, he'll say what he needs to say and do to win.

I was at a convention this weekend.

paraphasing Paul chek. we are not a white house, we have a white house corporation.

This has been the way it has been for a long, long time.
People are just now waking up to the fact.

No. We were not in the shitter. Only childish sensual individuals thought that we were in the shitter. We were merely going through a recession that happens roughly every 8-10 years, something that must happen in order for us to continue to enjoy longterm economic prosperity. Granted, this recession was made much worse than it should have been because of an artificially inflated housing bubble, but compared to other times such as the late 70s/early 80s, things were not bad. But today, we are in the SHITTER. If you cant see that, you deserve what you are getting today. I have no sympathy for anyone who deosnt have a job that voted for Obama and still believes this is Bush's economy.

First black presidents legacy to republicans will be tainted, but to democratic supporters and progressives he'll be the man who brought about a great social change for the better and did what they have wanted for many many years.

I don't really know the term progressives very well Billy.  I hadn't heard it until I saw a Glen Beck show.  I put it in there more as a tongue in cheek reference than anything else.

You are about to be sorely mistaken. Im trying to understand the brains of people like you. Do you think that products and money just fall from the sky? Do you think that the resources that make these products and wealth are static and not dynamic, and that different incentives cant affect the creation of these products????
