Interesting from an artistic viewpoint. Available light photos do capture some of the candid moments. I wonder why most of the guys have gals putting oil, etc., on them? Many pros even have women managers.

It is always good to let photographers have a go at capturing bodybuilding events. They add a new perspective and this can be appreciated by bodybuilders and fans.

Posslibly because they may feel more comfortable and maybe because women have a better attention to detail in such matters than men do.

That was then, now it is more "professional", and the products are different. I think Jan Tana knows more about applying oil and tan appropriately and professionally than another competitor. Plus, many of the competitors don't like one another, so why put tan on each other...The women are proefessionals at what they do, and many like Cindy James look good as well.
