That was a hardcore slamming of David Frum. It needed to be done. I don't listen to Levin, but that was pretty spot on. I lol'd.

I also just got done reading an article over on Forbes where Frum and some other guy decided to show how stupid the tea party is. They went and questioned like 38 of them asking them questions about taxes so they could then illustrated the tea party are idiots. That's David Frum for you.

I'm not either, but even though I don't like Rush, I can't say that he's guilty of doing that. He puts in his own arguments. So does Olbermann. He often has special comments that take up a large portion of the show and it's nothing but his own material on an issue. If we're to have a national debate on the issues, I don't see anything wrong with using clips to show what has been said and then argue it publically. Now it becomes a problem if all a person can do is bebate with clips. If you have nothing to say and all you can do is search youtube and reply with what someone else said, that's a problem. If you use a clip to start a debate and you engage with your own opinions, then I don't see a problem.

I agree. I'm not saying it's always a problem. I just recall seeing/hearing Rush and Olbermann do it a number of times. I haven't listened to Rush in over ten years (maybe 5 minutes here or there) and I can't stand more than about 2 minutes of Olbermann, but I've seen him do it.

The reason I mention those two is the times I've seen them actually engage live people in debates they haven't done very well. Remember when Rush tried to have his own TV show? All he did was debate video clips. He has always sucked at debating live, informed people.
