Legalize Marijuana and prostitution in the USA

 The funny thing is that the majority of Americans want weed to be legalized. But the gov. won't let it happen.

 Freedom? Democracy? Nope.

I live in a place where prostitution is illegal but the laws aren't enforced.

I'm not sure why it is illegal anywhere. Isn't it mostly men making the laws ?

I'd be most upset if I couldn't go out for a quick blow job at lunch time after a stressful morning at work.

 The thing is, if people want to be prostitutes they'll get into it right now even though it's illegal. The USA is full of whores already.

 Just becase you make something legal that doesn't mean it'll happen more. Just means that people will not be punished for doing it.

 Same with weed. You can buy a sack of weed in almost every town in the USA....

All drugs should be legal,prostitution should be legal,gambling should be legal.The government should have no say in our personal liberty as long as that behavior doesnt harm others.What right does the government have to ban any of these things?

What do I care?If he goes to a ballgame in the city,there are 50 prostitutes on the street.We went to Atlantic city last year ,I was with my wife and son,at least 6 whores came up and asked if I wanted a date.In my sons school a kid just got locked up for having a gun in his locker with pot and ecstasy and we live in one of the top rated school distrricts in our state.You cant hide the world from kids.Frankly this whole "we have to do it for the kids" argument makes me want to vomit.As long as the brothel was clean,well kept and noise free I dont care.

Sexual acts between consenting adults in brothels , it's an availability for sexual release for those who would find it hard to get it in other ways .

For real , drinking is worse than smoking weed .

I'm sure there would be zoning laws to consider just like strip clubs etc.  It's not like they would open up next door.  Even in Las Vegas the Bunny Ranch is a good drive outside Vegas' city limits.

 As a matter of fact, I am living in an Asian country right now where prostitution is basically legal. Similar to Mexico, it is technically illegal, but it is everywhere and nobody ever gets arrested for it.

 There are brothels right next to schools etc. Brothels all over, there is one in the building I live in actually. And it really does not have any negative impact on society here. The HIV rates are lower here than the USA, as well as the divorce rates and crime rates.

 In the USA people have a kneejerk reaction that prostitution = horrible and scummy. But in much of the world this stigma does not exist. And making it illegal tends to cause the problems associated with it, not the business itself.

 The USA is just soooooooo PC and Christian. They need to lighten up in some ways.

I still wouldn't care because there would still be guidelines for the business to follow.  Now, regardless of that I do think it could potentially raise issues for you to raise a family there because whether we like it or not those places will attract lower members of society and you will have the occasional bar fight, robbery attempt, maybe even an attempted breaking and entering if you live next door.  You never know what some drunk asshole would do.  That's why we have zoning laws.

if the only thing stopping your mommy,sis,daughter from becoming a prostitute is it's legal status then being proud is the least of your concerns...
