It means that our current culture of beauty relies on false beauty, a mask to mask to reality. America is about image, take away the image and what do you have? The unflattering truth.
Magazines use Photoshop and airbrushing to present a image of fantasy, when the reality is that most of today's women are overweight self absorbed people, who require their men to lie to them that they are not overweight and are perfect (how else are we gonna get the nookie?)
basically Wiggs, I don't like the bait and switch. I have seen women who wear very little to no make up and were blazin...sadly they were picked up by men who saw what I saw.
hip hop artists used rented exotic cars, mansions, yachts and women to present the image that they are balling, then use lyrics to say that they ate better than you because they have these things, when in fact they don't. And it's the record labels that put them up to it, you buy the songs, albums and the rest of thr "trappings" to fit into the image, that you can't afford.
