The guy who had the heart issue passed away today.
He was 33 years old.

RIP Bryan Khan, you were someone I called my friend and will be missed by many

I know how you feel - I had a lot of my friends pass away, one in the army, one due to an incident with the italian mafia vs Skinheads, one due to health issues and one due to a very bad car accident.
the last one was probably the worse since I reached the accident scene a short time after it happend it was very later (or early) and he was all fucked up brain leaking on one side even if it was hard to see because it was dark, I remember that I wasn't shocked (at least at that time) just really fucking scared I am doing something wrong - he made it to the hospital which considering his head injury is a miracle and died later.

Mate I feel for you - all the best to you and hope your friend is resting in peace.

Roll your eyes all you want, police never found out for sure why who kicked and beat him to death but he was an ex skinhead who was
very heavily involved with the organized crime in Germany, I worked for one of the guys that was investigated he had a italian restaurant and let me tell you a couple of things I saw in my time there - one day we see a fat italian come in the restaurant and it the place was closed down for the rest of the evening, he and Claudio would sit on a table and talk in italian then the guy would take' his bag and walk in a room in the back were we would keep all extra tables and such things, when I walked in to get the Grapa I saw that he had bags full of "italian" gold all these realy big and cheesy medalions and he would sell them there, there were many days when it was really fucking clear that Claudio and his partner (very small guy called Guiseppe) were very very shady.
Another day some guy comes in (we had to change the restaurant into a disco in the evening) and he looked all "mobbed" up was like straight out of godfather kiss on the cheek and all that shit, he got a nice table and we had to give the guy and his friends all the food he asked for, he took his jacket off and he had holster with a gun, in Germany unless you are with the cops thats just impossible to do.
Lars my friend went to prison for beating up a rocker with a pool stick, when he came out of prison after a year and a half he meet some real shitty people in it - he really changed and was obviously involved with some heavy people he had a lot of money to throw around never washed his cloth but always bought new cloth instead fancy car and all that stuff, one night I get a phone call from another friend and he said they found Lars by a lake and he was all fucked up and they never really found out what happend to him.

im quite familiar with how the italian mob operates. i was head of security at one of the hottest clubs in town which everyone knows that the mafia basically owns it. The owners and club managers are very dear friends of mine, i've seen my share of mobbed-up-godfather-looking italians doing all sorts of business.

let me tell you one thing that i saw and know... the back entrance of the club is in al alley, thursday-sunday nights which were the busiest nights of the club, there is always a Cadillac parked in the corner where its very dark, and 4 zips   sitting in the car, complete with the micheal jackson hat  and the car is always running, dont know why. when some assholes in the club acted like jerks and got thrown out and threatened to come back, we would drag them out the back and into that corner and tell them to look in that corner and see the guys in the car, we would tell them to wise up and GTFO here, almost %100 of the time they would just shut up and leave.

fuck it lemme tell you this too, sometimes there were jerks in the club whom it wasnt justice enough to just kick them out ,for example a guy punched a female bartender, we did fuck him up, but at the same time there is only so much you can do without you yourself getting in the trouble. So we kicked him out the backdoor, ( oh and those guys in the car were on the same radio frequency as the club security, so they knew to "get ready". we kicked the guy and his buddies out, 500ft down the alley from the club, " they were involved in a street fight with 4 guys in the street".  :)

the 4 guys who fucked them up were the same guys sitting in the Cadillac, but of course they have no affiliation with the club, as if it was a street fight. just in case your curious, one of the guy's friend lost an eye because of the beating he got ( it suck that the guy who punched the bartender didnt lose the eye, but his buddy did)

trust me, i have seen way too much to care for

I am not the smartest person in the world but I tried to get the fuck out of the place I worked - every day there were alarm bells going off.

Oh I have a good one this is 100% true, one day we get a new cook - Claudio says he works for the kitchen now so that was that, he was this small guy italian of course - around 40 years old.
This was a very busy restaurant so busy that at times you had not chance of working all your station and the kitchen was far too busy and they were getting in a lot of stress - so naturaly you kinda get into arguments with the chefs.
I got into an argument with the new guy (I was working "security" and also helped out when there were other things to do - he kinda gave me a funny look and I am very good in picking up vibes from people so I patched up the situation and just let it go.
Next day in the morning I sit outside and have my coffee and a ciggi - the restaurant was situated on the top of a small hill and below was the little town beside the lake (not going to say what the name was) so I am sitting there and drinking my coffee and I see the Chef from yesterday walking down there he was supposted to work that day and I call Claudio and say:
Claudio - theres the guy you were looking for - but before claudio comes out of the office I see police with cars and on foot from the left and the right and they box this guy in throw him to the ground guns drawn and all (which you don't see in germany all that often).

now get this..

The guy was an italian escaped from an italian prison came to germany and that evening he killed his female cousin very early in the morning at the small train station - the guy was a fucking psychopath.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion ... but don't assume everyone here is as shallow or uncaring as you think they are ...... some posters like Avesher are appreciated and that is a fact ... he's a good man so don't trivialize this with ignorance please  :-\

I'm sorry for your loss and wish peace to his loved ones Avesher

I don't necessarily feel sorry for anyone involved here truth to be told but there's just something about death that brings about melancholy. Especially when someone that a lot of people cared for died. Puts me in a certain mood at least.
