No he didn't in fact he said ' I don't know ' big difference

doesn't matter what he said. talk is cheap.

real life tells the story:

even dorian's self proclaimed 'best' (1995 according to him) falls far short of peak ronnie:

Yeah and Ronnie's best was 1999   when ALL the experts say otherwise as does the real life visuals

LOL so now the visuals show 99 wasn't his best?

when did you come up with this gem? ::)

show us, because everyone says the visuals show quite clearly that (with his monster gut) at the AC, it was NOT his best:

there are some links posted in the truce thread about the growing concensus that 99 was his best.

check it out. oh wait, thats right, you pussied out of that thread miserably because  you couldn't take the embarassment. thats right.

I never said Hulkster but you're a gimmick none-the-less to  ;)

Dorian had outstanding balance & proportion in 1995 even with the torn-bicep , 1996 wasn't his best but in those GP screencaps he looks outstanding

Its ok, I've been accused of being Hulkster before. That's why I posted that.

I'm a gimmick? Really? Why is that? Because my post count is low? Because I'm new here?
Or is it beacuse I think different than you and think Dorian did not have good proportions after 93? Or because I think Ronnie at his best would kill him? ::)

I get your point though talk is cheap only when it's experts and when it's a bunch of ball-licking morons who were never at any contest nevermind the two in debate they are right , gotcha

thanks for playing ....that was easy  ;D

Yeah and Ronnie's best was 1999  ::) when ALL the experts say otherwise as does the real life visuals  ;)

Dorian 1995 Mr Olympia would beat Ronnie 1999 and 2001 , bigger , harder , drier , better balance and a hell of a lot better poser  ;)

In my opinion Ronnie's best was 1999, if your beloved "experts" think otherwise that is fine. Other than the "experts" there is a lot of people that think that Ronnie in 99 was best.

Ronnie in 1999 would beat any Dorian, whether 1993, 1995 or 1996.

Monster gut you say?  ;D these are all 1999 now couple that with the FACT he was harder & drier in 01 it's no wonder the general consensus of experts agree 2001 is his best BY FAR

Yeah he always competed in the spring shows and by the O his body was worn down , can't blame the guy he made a killing in the early contests and didn't do to bad in the late ones

No, I never had the opportunity to go to an IFBB contest before, since I live outside of the US. I formed my opinion on what I have available: videos and pics. Does fact that I was never there live make my opinion worthless? I think a good quality video gives a damn close idea of what the bodybuilder looked like on a particular contest, is there a magical difference on seeing them live?
I've been to local bodybuilding shows and even have seen 200 lbs bodybuilders up close and honestly there isn't a BIG difference as to when I saw their videos or pics.

As far as Ronnie saying that, he was just being "correct". He was being interviewed by a magazine, what was he going to say? I'm better?

Oh so you're officially Ronnie Coleman's spokesman now? you're gonna do the talking for him? if he said it once maybe , twice nope , three times he said the same thing , I'm sorry sport I know it pains you but that's how he feels and his opinion on the subject trumps yours

I never said local contests are the same as professionals. I meant I have an idea of what a bodybuilder looks like live onstage.

It doesn't hurt me at all, I could care less what he says. Hell, I could care less that Dorian said Ronnie would beat him at his best.

of course there isn't..you will get a better idea of the fine details of a physique with a well done video as opposed to sitting 45 rows back behind some tall guy..

but when the nuthuggers see the proof that their quotes (ie opinions from other people) are in fact incorrect, they need to come up with something to discredit the visuals..

so they claim the visuals don't matter.

its silly, really.

they wish this video didn't exist because it destroys everything they have.

it shows ronnie was at his best in 99

and it shows he was better than dorian ever was all at the same time.

so they freak out, call it faked etc etc.

As Hulkster posted before, visuals trump any quote.

It does kill you that Ronnie constantly says Dorian would beat him and Dorian never said Ronnie would beat him at his best , that's a lie in fact when posed with the question he said " I guess , I don't know it would be up to the judges ' he also said the day of the contest he would he better conditioned and better balanced what's left posing and size? Dorian may be down on size but he's a better poser to boot , hence the criteria favors his physique

LMFAO you're quoting Hulkster man you're desperate , the same guy who said Ronnie has more detailed calves than Dorian , Dorian should have lost in 1993 to Flex , Dorian's conditioning was a myth , Ronnie dominated in 01 by losing , I mean I can continue for a long , long time if you'd like?

being live and in person at all the said contests trumps ANY ignorant fanboy posting photoshopped screencaps who never went to a pro contest in his life , learn the difference

just as I was saying, they make up bullshit to discredit the visuals because it destroys the quotes they have, which is the basis of their whole argument..

when you base your whole argument on someone elses opinion, and that opinion is shown to be incorrect based on the visuals, what do you have left?

nothing.

You ran from Ronnie's words  ;) and where am I in another thread shoving facts in your face rubbing your nose in your own shit

Ronnie Coleman admitted three separate occasions he could NOT beat Dorian Yates , this my stupid little friend ends anything you can't type ever , case closed...check mate all that is left is bitter crybabies who can't move on and type about anything else

It really doesn't, I could care less. Maybe Ronnie is a bit more humble than Dorian? Still, who cares about the quotes when visuals proof the opposite.
Dorian could be better conditioned than Ronnie, but not at Ronnie's best. By balance you mean how each muscle flows in size comparable to the rest? If so, then Dorian would not be more balanced than a peak Ronnie.

I didn't know Hulkster posted those things, I don't agree with them, but I do agree with Hulkster in one thing: Ronnie's best>Dorian's best.

being live and in person at all the said contests trumps ANY ignorant fanboy posting photoshopped screencaps who never went to a pro contest in his life , learn the difference

So, again as Hulkster said ;D being rows far from the stage give a better visual of a physique than a good quality video with the bb being filmed up close?
