What made you return?
Wow thats a good fuckin lift D.welcome back broski
Thanks. Much less impressive (because my bench has always lagged and sucked relative to my other lifts) I benched 215 for 6 for the first time today as well, in any event improvements over the past.
Are you doing HST or a traditional bodypart split? Also, did you complete your masters that you were going for in the UK?
Also: do update us on those fat loss goals!
Haha. HST of course. 5 rep hard week. But I wanted to see if I could get an extra one. I have always made some progress when I do HST so I return back to it. Yes, finished my MA. Thanks for asking.
great to hear that, congrats! It seemed very quick, was it on fast track? Seemed like it only took a year. Either way, it's still a good accomplishment... although I'm aware of the job situation as you mention in your youtube update vid.
One area of little progress I fear. At least I am stronger than I ever was before; never thought at this age I would be.
Yes, working part time now as a German teacher but nothing full time right now. I try to look on the bright side. I love my gym and enjoy working out these days more than ever so it's all good. It was quick. Just a year ago I struggled with 320 sometimes for 3 reps...don't know what happened. Maybe I have been eating and training more consistently than before or maybe I love my gym; I feel motivated when I am there.
You don't sound like you're far away from doing 405 for a single or double. Keep at it.TEG approved
wow that's quite a change from the Deicide we have come to known Good to know things are going good-- a far cry from how it seemed in korea or europe. Keep it up!
Yeah...I never really go for single reps...the least I ever do is 4..usually 5...but I might go for it one day...
Heavy singles can get a bit intense, no doubt.
I was insanely nervous today at the rack. I guess I just prefer several reps because I am not into powerlifting...I always try to train between 5 and 15 reps, depending on the system I am using.
Hell yes, I let one out while pushing through my gut really hard doing a deadlift single this one time--- I was 1000% sure I had shit myself but thank god nothing happened... just remember not to eat beans for lunch before a deadlift workout.
Though there have been some requests that I 'return'. It likely won't happen.
