I saw mccain/palin as not all that "viable", to be honest.  Mccain had some senior moments, Palin was a spunky train wreck.

Is Ron paul "not viable" because Sean hannity said so?

My "logic" says Ron Paul ran a very long campaign and was never a viable candidate.  He couldn't raise the money or garner the votes necessary to win.  He did not fare well in debates.  He doesn't have the party loyalty necessary to convince enough members to vote for him.  He doesn't have the charisma.  There is no way he comes out of the Republican primary.

Unfortunately, a candidate needs more than good ideas, a solid moral compass, and great intellect (all of which Ron Paul has).  It's a beauty contest that requires an obscene amount of money.

I like him, but anyone who believes he can win is dreaming IMO.

I don't know.  I don't usually vote in the presidential primary because it happens long after the race has been decided.

Romney's position on healthcare makes me leary of him.

It's amazing that even with the complete disintegration of our economy that some people still think we can continue our current foreign policy and spend over a trillion dollars overseas.

Buchanan...I have mixed feelings about him but he is decent on foreign policy.
