People get bored to death to be happy for too long, then they get fed with too many soaps promoting adultery,and start cheating on each others cause it adds some spice to their life. They invent reasons to be unhappy, to break things that work, just because they have no real reasons to be unhappy.
Too much hapiness= the need to suffer.
Basically they do their best to create suffering where there's too much hapiness, cause constant hapiness tends to get boring. Then they can whine and make a drama of their life identifiying themselves with the characters of desperate housewives or santa barbara. They feel like they re part of something, they dont feel alone anymore; they re cheaters,they re losers, like all these people around em who fell in the same trap.
And they produce kids who learn dissension and will reproduce it in their own relationships with others in life.
Fact; cheating parents teach their kids to be cheaters once they re grown up.
This is the main side effect of "progress" in our "modern" societies, these are the side effects of technological, social and medical pogresses. Basically people have everything they want and need, and feel the need to destroy it all by themselves cause their life loses it's taste when everything goes too well for too long.
Spanlife is getting longer, gives more opportunities to get bored.
That's why those who constantly challenge themselves and their loved ones and keep their mutual existences stimulating last longer.
Never forget that once you re old and ugly and uninteresting, you ll need someone by your side. And its not going to be your kids.
Adultery and dysfunctionnal familes explode cause religion disapeared, cause women can be autonomous financially, and cause TV and the medias constantly promote adultery 24/7 since decades.
Noone saw this coming.
We re complaining about living lives our ancesters would consider being God's lives.
