I would say yes. He was training him for some time a long with Warren G.

All are still in good contact I'm sure.

Dre and his affiliation with bodybuilding goes back to the Flex Wheeler days. Flex was in one of Boss' videos, on the night of Flex's car accident he was leaving Dre's place. And Dre came to visit him in the hospital. I'm guess Dre doent want to be a 40+ yr old fat dude like Russell Simmons.

If Stan can parlay this into something he could make a killing.

Exactly, it's crazy the amount of people Stan knows that's for sure. Doesn't surprise me a bit though, living in LA and such, but the dude is literally friends with everyone or is affilated with in some sort.

He is doing very good at this point, I would even say much better than almost all the IFBB pros, and I agree, he could make even more considering who he knows and such.
