i would never go to a chiro, many instances of chiros causing more damage to the spine and other areas, i went years ago cause i didn't know any better, now, if i need it and depending on the problem,  sports physio, or even accupuncture in chinatown from the ones who treat their own.....but first, get x-rays done so you know what your dealing with first and go from there..............

Here douche...still waiting on that pic to own me.....oh, wait....there never will be one!  You cant post one because you will be owned into oblivion

In any event...if chiropractic care is such a scam, why do all NFL teams have one on staff?  A chiropractor doesnt help someone after a couple of visits and all hell breaks loose....but an MD over medicates and its "well, next we will know better"....or how how about the orthopoedic surgeon who operates on the WRONG shoulder?

How about this from the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services

There are 700,000 physicians in the U.S.  It is estimated that medical doctors (from medications) cause appromixately 70,000 accidental deaths per year.  I dont think there has been 1 death in the last year from a chiropractic adjustment.

Anyways....I know what I do helps people.  MJK....anytime you want to try and own me....have at it.  ME : 1  You : 0

if a misadjusted spine affects the liver, as some chiros claim, then why aren't quadriplegics suffering from liver failure?

Someone once told me, "If you're dumb, you can be one!"

But I never took his advice so I don't know any that I can comment on.

But they make lots of money though.

I have a good friend who is dumber than an oyster and his dad said, "Son, I'll pay your "tuition". What do you want to be .... A personal trainer, a masseur, or a chiropractor?"

He smartened up a bit just then so he picked masseur and now he owns a three bedroom home by Jay's, two ski-doos, a speed-boat on Lake Mead, and two Mastiffs.  And not even 30 yet!

He may be dumb but he sure ain't smart!

JNN, have you ever considered going to Chiropractor School?

Helps lots of people. That being said, it's a little too removed from mainstream medicine to last with the changes being made to healthcare. Overheads, insurance, education, loans, etc.. aren't really getting any cheaper and unless someone wants to be in sales for life I wouldn't recommend it.

Their profession gets lumped into naturopathy all the time and one has nothing to do with the other.  Its just a part of medicine although largely ignored...sort of like a foot doctor or something.  I had to go to one back in 2006 for 6 weeks  when some girl texting on the phone sideswiped me and ran me into a wall.

My buddy is a very wealthy chiropractor and he doesn't even believe in the effectiveness of what chiropractors (are suppose to) do.

I can't stand them.  Most are crooks.  They love to run up the tab when you're in a lawsuit and they know they're gonna get paid in full.  They can do more damage than help.

But, at the same time...

When I had a shoulder issue/strained biceps ligament causing me terrible pain for months, ONE session of active release therapy fixed it.  If I got hurt again, i'd find one in my area - www.activerelease.com - Milos was saved by active release therapy just hours before 2x rotator cuff surgery.  it's a combo of motrion, massage and electricity at the same time.  painful but very effective.

Fortunately I was driving.  I did get an attorney and a settlement from the insurance company.

Most are crooks...wow Rob...they love to run up the tab??  I have met more attorneys that are crooks than chiros.  Funny how an x-ray at a chiro is $280...yet that same x-ray at an ER is billed at $700.  Hmmmm.....yeah, that sounds crooked for chiros.
