They're being called the Revenue Collecting Mounted Police. They've ticketed people in record numbers and are going on a rampage, strong arming otherwise law abiding citizens. Even people on the streets they're pulling to the side and dicking around!

Not long ago my insurance just expired and I had a family emergency (stepdad got crushed by an ATV deep in the forest) so I didn't pay attention. A cop busted me a week before Christmas which really sucked, especially having missed work to tend to a loved one. I have direct deposit and my renewal notice was sent to an old address and wasn't forwarded. I agreed to pay the $600 fine and asked if I could drive around the block to park my vehicle at work - cop said no. It was pissing down rain and he kept me there for an extra long time knowing full well that I was on my lunch break. Fucking cock sucker. I was having flashes of rage and envisioned myself murdering the fucker in cold blood.

Do you live in BC too? They're going fucking INSANE. I usually don't empathize when someone breaks the law, but shit our road rules are just ludicrous. And the fines are even more outrageous. I know that it's usually the person at fault, but the penalties are absolutely inexcusable.

I'm also never one to get tickets either. First speeding ticket was on 6/6/6 at 6:06am. I swear on my life - Constable Waters. I see him in town sometimes and he still remembers it too. Speeding my ass to work on June 6, 2006, shift started at 6am and when he wrote down the time on the ticket it was 6 minutes after 6. At least that time it was just $125 and lulz ensued.
