its just fucking boring anymore all these bodybuilders taking entire years off.

i think most of the time it is a ploy to keep relevant....see, if you compete, there is a chance you can place poorly and lose value to fans and the people who give supplement contracts.  bodybuilding is the kind of sport where everyone is always lookign for the next big thing, you place poorly in a few contests and your over.

this way, he can stretch out his relevance, and be guaranteed and additional year.  all it takes is a couple bad placings and your fucked

 Or maybe the massive amounts of drugs and hormones they are injecting these days are fucking them up and they need to take a rest from it sometimes?

Flex can only do the 202, he's stuck...he might as well quite if he thinks that can compete with Phil, Kai, etc.

but all bb seem to be hell bent on getting bigger

he's not going to accomplish much taking a yr off. So basically there are a few rookies and wet behind ears bbers competing this yr. It seems like the ones that need to compete don't. Lewis can stick to doing Muscle and Fitness article shoots.
