ADP's employment report came out showing just a 23,000 decline in private employment during March, which looks like a substantial miss vs. the positive 35,000 gain expected by consensus according to Factset.

Nonfarm private employment decreased 23,000 from February to March on a seasonally adjusted basis, according to the ADP National Employment ReportŪ. The estimated change of employment from January 2010 to February 2010 was revised down slightly, from a decline of 20,000 to a decline of 24,000.

The March employment decline was the smallest since employment began falling in February of 2008. Yet, the lack of improvement in employment from February to March is consistent with the pause in the decline of initial unemployment claims that occurred during the winter.

So, we are still loosing jobs in the private sector.  That means if unemployment #s are better on Friday, it is mainly because of increased government jobs and temporary census jobs....great.
This administration is doing nothing to help the private sector.

A Senator (D) the other day was openly talking about how the Health Bill will begin to "spread the wealth" around...you would NEVER hear that out in the open like that on TV from a (D), ever. They feel emboldened now.

When the employment report comes out later this week, you might see that the UE has decreased. Liberals on this board will open 9034829048208 threads praising the virtues of the stim bill. Unfortunately, the figure will be inflated by part-timers, especially the 1 million census workers, who in a few weeks will again be out of work.

Keep that in mind before you get your Obama knee pads.
