however, if you just like to keep a weapon because the economy sucks, the world is full of dangerous people, and you like to keep yourself and family safe, there's nothing wrong with that. I've carried for 14 years now, and only drawn it once, never pointed. saved my ass that one time.

hahaha nah, it was these two early 20s thuggish looking kids at a pizza shop in ft myers a few years back.

They pulled in all fast, blocked me in, kept their hands out of view and started to get out, making a beeline for me with their eyes and hips.

being the paranoid fvcker that I am, I drew glock to me side, issued a 'no MF-er' loud enough to pause them long enough to see the piece. They mumbled something to each other, shut their doors, and barked the tires driving off.

So yeah, in this shitty neighborhood/state, I carry the glock to pick up a pizza.

You can call me a pussy, whatever, but I've done wrestling and tae kwon do, and none of that shit will help me against two armed skinny punks.

yeah, I've been punched in the head at a random fight in the mall and didn't pull it. I've had a lot of times where there were threats, etc, but I never pulled.

These two cats were going to take my lunch money, no doubt about it. Plus I had my girlfriend at the time with me, and I would have looked like a coward getting pistolwhipped

She was oblivious to it lol.. would have never noticed a thing until she had a barrel in her face. Shit happened quick. To this day, I don't trust a damn person. Homeless people are the worst. They'll totally get into your personal space to insist on why they NEED money.
