They are great for the ocean.  Makes walking on the rocks a whole lot better.  Walking in them to much is not good.  They make some that are really sticky on the bottom for rock climbers.  everyone notices them when you wear them

Hmmm....Not in the ocean because there are no rocks where i live at.  ;)
