Nasser Belongs in Hall of Fame (according to Wheeler)

But if Nasser is inducted in the Hall of Fame (since he has not been inducted so far) will that mean the IFBB has changed course and politics are not as prevalent?

According to Weider, "To qualify for the Hall of Fame, a candidate must have made a major and lasting contribution to bodybuilding and fitness and must have been retired from the sport for at least five years. "

Nasser being 300lbs with abs can't be seen as "retired from the sport for at least five years"

Ha ha, well this year would mark his 5th year being retired from competition.  Inducting Nasser would not necessarily mean that contest judging have no biases anymore, but it will be interesting to see whether they gave him his place or allow politics to come in the way.

So Nasser believes "they" don't induct him in the Hall of Fame because he speaks the inconvenient truth, but what If "they" induct Nasser in the Hall of Fame? Do you think he will change his mind about the whole politics issue and stop talking about things since he would feel "vindicated"?

no really i dont think it was politics and both of them were great bbs.. it was apple vs orange.. but imo nasser was better than flex in more poses.. the only pose flex was better than nasser in when both were at their best was the RDB..

I'm seriously curious to hear what Parker thinks of this, and perhaps also Mesomorph78.  Both (especially Parker) are Wheeler fans who constantly put down Nasser (wonder why ).  I'm sure they've read this thread or will read it.

I think Nasser should get in the Hall of Fame, Wheeler is correct. It's moot to argue that he shouldn't. I mean, he was one of "90's" bbers who placed well, also, he could win contests now with the package he presented back then...except for his back

Shows you just how bitter and ego-centric Nasser really is, that people he talks shit about, ignore that part and give him his props based onhis physique, not his attitude or persona.

I thought flex was a bit of a douche' himself but it looks like he's matured over the years while nasser seems to be sinking lower and lower into depravity. Of course he's bitter why wouldnt he be? So is Levrone, Ray, Priest and many others. Nasser was just the only one to speak about it. And he was speaking for everyone who got screwed out of a title. Everyone uses the word 'bitter' to describe him like it means he lied in all his interviews or something. Yes, hes bitter but he still told the ugly truth.
