Well for all the years I lived there I somehow never ran across the '9th ward' element. Maybe it's out towards Greeley, who knows. But I can tell you that if there were a huge slum (i.e., New Orleans was) in say, Laramie... I don't care if they had a flood or not, I would damn well HOPE the local police would keep the hoards out of the town.

When a natural disaster happens, the LAST thing people need is a mass immigration of criminals into the area.

There has gotta be more to this cases then is being reported...

These weren't criminals. These were survivors of a huge catastrophe seeking shelter & safety.

The police...another govt. controlled operation that is completely ineffective and inept. Police do little to protect anyone. They should up after a crime is committed and write a report. People fear them, they aren't respected.

OK it depends on the country but there are LOTS OF GOOD COPS out there
