My car got towed today.  I wasnt parked illegally for more than 10 minutes in the jack in the box parking lot and when I came back outside from the computer lab on campus my car was gone.  I was pissed off and went inside the jack in the box to beat the manager's ass.  I could tell this overweight b.eaner woman was the manager because her shirt was different from everyone elses.  I changed my plan because I couldnt hit a woman, so I bought a large coke then asked to speak to the manager.  I threw it all over her, then pegged her with the empty cup, and left.  Had to get a taxi and pay $160 to get my car un impounded, but
I taught that bitch a lesson.

If you were smart enough (not likely) you would have kept your receipt, not thrown your drink at her and reported her to corporate saying you walk inside to buy a drink, had to take a shit just to come out and find your car had been towed by management then demand reimbursment.

Where do you live?  Apparently in Cali you are supposed to have an hour of time before they can tow unless you are parked in a red or fire lane or blocking someone else.

While the receipt idea sounds ok, there is a time stamp on the receipt......sometimes the restaurants have to mark down when they notice a car in their parking lot.  Ultimately the time the tow truck picks you up is recorded.  So, if its a long time (45mins+)...I would imagine you are going to have a little problem proving you were in the crapper.

nope, when the call is answered and the request is processed by dispatch they time, date, requestors information, location of pick up, vehicle info is all captured in their dispatch software. Even most of the smaller tow companies have it cause it cost under $2000 and is cheaper than a potential lawsui
