so many hockey "fans" rooting against the pens ::)

most of the non canadien (the country) fans won't even watch without crosby or ovechkin

everybody likes the underdog but nobody wants to watch them on tv

For me, it's just sour grapes. nothing more, nothing less. And without Ovi and Crosby deep in the NHL playoffs, this hurts the NHL for fans in the USA. I mean, we're talking about the two best players in the NHL and even Canadien hard core fans would agree with that.

huge disappointment :( :(

looked like an easy road to a 3rd straight final, i guess be careful what you wish for because nobody saw this coming

hal gill who was a HATED penguin the last 2 years completely shut down crosby, i guess if we still had him camilerri wouldn't have looked like mario ::)

i see montreal making the final, but i don't see them winning it

not uncommon for a low seed to make the final but they never seem to win it all

all you people happy to see the pens lose, i bet you won't even watch a single canadiens game, but you would've watched the pens and crosby ::)

shitty way to close out the igloo

oh well, can't win them all...

Hal Gill was hated by Montreal fans as well. I still can't believe how well he has played in the playoffs.

I'll be watching Montreal all the way, but I've been a fan all my life. You're right about viewership in the US going down because of this though.

everybody in town is blaming fleury, and he was beyond terrible last night

he still won 2 games by himself this series, crosby and malkin were terrible

it's so funny too because hal gill was easily the most hated guy in town this time last year, every caller to local sports talk shows was nothing but "I HATE HAL GILL"

i thought halak's luck ran out after giving up 5 goals in game 1, pens had twice as many shots on net last night :-\

epic comeback by the flyers, only the 4th team in all of sports to come back from 3 - 0 in a series

i think both the flyers and canadiens didn't clinch a playoff spot until the last day of the season, now they are in the conference championship

i guess that's what makes the nhl playoffs great
