 Filing taxes is a bunch of bullshit anyway, we shouldn't even be doing it.

 There's no such thing as cheating, just squeezing out more money.

 These assholes are puting us through the inconvienence of filing taxes, so fuck them.

 Yup.

 In the country I live now, income tax is 4%, there is no sales tax, and all other taxes are low or non-existant.

 The more I think about the USA, the less I want to go back there.

We need to repeal the income tax and instill a National Sales Tax with used goods and necessities (food, medicine, housing etc...) subject to no tax.

I wrote a check for $23865.00 last week. It killed me. I hate writing a check for that much

I always thought it would be cool if you could say how you want your money spent, and if the government decided not to spent it that way someone would send you a personal letter of apology detailing the reasons why not.  Can't think of any other time when you pay someone but they aren't in the least accountable to you.  It would be a nice change from the current 'do as we say or else' level of service.

Yep.
I bought my first car used.
And even though sales tax was already paid to the state when the original owners bought it, I had to pay sales tax on it again.
Then, when I sold it, that person had to pay sales tax.

The state made sales tax 3 times one vehicle!

just make sure its postmarked by tomorrow.  it is a very simple form, just a couple fields to fill out and you are straight for 6 months.  you are technically supposed to send some sort of payment along with it if you can, but it's not necessary (though the address you mail it to will differ if depending on if you are attaching payment).  just read the form carefully.

I don't like this reason. If you're a Pacifist and disagree with military spending is that reason enough when that's one of the few things authorized under the Constitution?

Cheating on your taxes is one for the few things that I not only think is OK but encourage that you do if you can get away with it. It's your money and the government is stealing from you and you have no legal recourse. The amount of money taken from one person, under threat of jail or even death, and given to another person that the government, unilaterally, has determined needs it or deserves it more than you, the one who actually earned it, is not only a crime but immoral.
