You should get yourself a gameboy micro with an EZIV cartridge and a 2gb mini sd card, could play all the gba classics and play every released Nes game on the full speed emulator, all while fitting in your pocket.

I just like to kill time at work with the old school games. Theres lots of sites that let you play them for free. I'm not gonna spend any money on it. That thing looks pretty cool though.

f-zero on gamecube fucking owned.  they need to make one for wii.

NES still had the best games.  if you like castlevania 2 you would like Faxanadu.

check that site out for videos of people beating games in very fast times.  There is a vid of castlevania 2 being beaten in 30mins.
I dont like twinks.

Which emulator are you using !?!? I want to play some of my NES favorites, I have the modded DS lite with the SS card and 8gb mini SD card, I have 56 DS games on it but want some old school NES games!

softmod wii here as well,

I have 4.2u... so I can't burn dvd games, so I run everthing off a USB loaded external hard drive.

this micro looks sweet as hell, and I am pretty surprised I haven't heard of it before.  I am seriously considering getting one now... took a look on ebay and you can pick one up for about 50-80usd.  is it much hassle to load up a card with ROMs?

Yeah, I just fuck around and play OG Nintendo games. Sometimes I play a computer game too but i'm in all that deep into it. I'm not really into all the newest games.

When i'm at my desk at work with 4 hours to kill those old Nintendo games are cool. If I bought a new generation Nintendo I would probably waste my life away on it, I'd better just stay away.

Softmod ftw  :D Picked up an old xbox 360 with the old dashboard and jtagged it, required some soldering but now I can run all the games off a usb Hard drive, no discs needed ;)

Its easy to load the cart with roms, this is the best flashcart for it, accepts up to 2gb minisd

thanks db, I will look into it.  probably couldn't be any worse than getting the wii working right.  that was a serious pain in the ass but definitely worth it after all the trial and error.

I never bothered with the xbox, just cause every single person I know that has one has had the 'red ring of death' and had to replace it.  I read some crazy stats in some article that xbox accounts for like 80% of all console replacement issues.. I believe it too after seeing everyone I know have their xbox shit the bed.

Isnt anything needed doing really.Buy the micro, buy the flashcart, buy a 2gb minisd.Put the minisd in to an adapter so your pc can see it, run the ezIV software in windows (used to load games from windows to your memory card), select the folder your gba games are in on your pc, select which games you want to put on to the memory card, it loads them on, take out memory card from your pc, slot it in to your ezIV catridge, plug it in to your micro then play.Thats it.

Softmodding the wii is a pain I agree, just got to follow tutorials to the tee.The 360's are just badly made, you can mod them yourself so they wont die though.

Me too but it keeps crashing with certain games, I use my psp mostly for playing downloaded psp games and divx movies.
