I am making a bar top mane cab for my game room. It's going to be sweet once I finishe it. I am using this kit, because it has a lot of room for parts, unlike the LCD kit.

Me too but it keeps crashing with certain games, I use my psp mostly for playing downloaded psp games and divx movies.

PSP FTW. Even though I have an iPhone and am getting a Sony Ericcson Xperia x10 my PSP is just too precious. Sometimes it collects dust for a few months but I watch movies on it and play games when I do cardio at the gym. For cardio at home I play PS3 or rig up the old Dreamcast and play some NES games hahaha

I never bothered with the xbox, just cause every single person I know that has one has had the 'red ring of death' and had to replace it.  I read some crazy stats in some article that xbox accounts for like 80% of all console replacement issues.. I believe it too after seeing everyone I know have their xbox shit the bed.

unless you're a halo fanatic, i see no reason to choose 360 over ps3

1.)Old 360s have about 4 years warranty and a removable hard drive, so ring of death is not that big of deal.
2.) more hardcore gamers used the 360
3.)the network is 10x better then on the ps3. Yes you pay for it, but that were some of the money goes into. Try playing an EA game on the ps3.    
4.)The 360 has more ram, witch they did Basicly for gears of war, but most games can benefit from it.
5.) m$ make the 360 very easy to program games on.
6.) Streaming is better.  

That being say, thanks to $ony paying off everybody, blu-Ray is king. Ps3 is the best blu-ray player hands down. Plus with the update it will play 3D movies.  
It really, goes back to what type of games, or things you want to do.

This is true but try playing any EA game on either system and EA'S servers are terrible. That problem is not on Sony but falls on EA.  Every EA sports game i own always gets dropped but it also depends on your internet provider.

what is your definition of a hardcore gamer?  i always got the impression it was mostly kids on xbox live, and if more people have 360 it's only because the ps3 finally lowered thier price and improved the gaming library

gears does not look better than god of war 3 or uncharted 2

why does anybody use a gaming system for streaming?

i think sony has better exclusive games, there are no exclusives on 360, they can all be played on a pc

360 looked better in the beginning, sony looks better now and forever
