Khan was picked up days after his win by Weider and Roelly signed with MD last week.

Roelly is the MDs "tricep" answer to Phil. It would have been cool to have both Phil and Roelly, the titanic tri brothers...in fact I think Weider would have been a better fit for Roelly, he can portrayed as Phil's hip counterpart who wears gucci underwear and shades. With MD there is stacked deck with too many established Pros and Cedric McMillian.

there is defiantly a point where a relatively small magazine (compared to other national magazines) like MD could be over-saturated with  signed athletes

sure glute-man is worth hundreds of millions, so he could theoretically throw money at all of them

but they went on a signing spree of unrivaled proportions just to stick it to RX MUSCLE last year.....sometimes literally signing people hours after RX was done interviewing them (trey brewer)

it is surely a problem that they have WAYYYYY more athletes then they could pay adequate attention to, and now with JAY, who is always goiing to take a lions share of attention......there a going to be athletes over there who serve absolutely NO function.  ever "PRO", (cough, cough, ron harris) articale is the same stupid questions every months........what are you going to have 35 different athlete sections each answering pre-written quetions about how to bring up their chest each month

Un, I agree with you, MD is too over saturated, and you know, they could use Flex as a In The Trenches interviewer.

MD tries to get the freaks, like Kai, Roelly (tris), Cedric (tall version of Flex), Kevin English, and the. There is the man on the mountain, Jay...they have no real marketing strategy for these guys, at least Weider is good with their marketing of Phil...
