I ate human while travelling through Cambodia. It was a rule that a family can only have 1 daughter to avoid over population. So if a family has more than one girl they kill the baby. One particular village 20 minutes south of the Kampong Speu province felt it was a waste. They would raise the female babies in cages just as you would chickens until they reach 18 pounds. Any heavier and the meat would begin taking on a different taste. They then roast the baby whole leaving the heart for guests or high ranking officials of the village. As a guest I was able to feast on heart, arm, brain and thigh meat. It was a dark pink color. The taste was quite neutral, sort of a cross between bison and elk. Kidding fuckers....
