This guy is an intense athlete.  To learn martial arts like he did at such a young age takes dedication and hours and hours in the gym.  He's young, testosterone is running at high rates naturally for this guy.  Putting on that size is easy with personal trainers and personal chefs and nothing else to worry about.

Can he go from that to a bigger physique naturally.  Not likely.  he probably maxed out his natural abilities now and has plateaued.

Kid prob. gets 10 hours of sleep a day, best food in the world ala pre-packed and arranged for him, best 'supplements' you can get at GNC, best trainers on Earth paid at 1000 bucks an hour plus he is also going to add size due to just being at that age where he grows... nothing crazy about what looks like either.

he probably ate 3000 calories a day, ate every 2 hours and lifted "Heavy".  Also, factor in that he is still a teenager

if anyone's done sports in high school, then you've known kids who've done this in a year or so.

not to say i analyzed the movie scene for scene with my wife, while pausing in certain shirtless scenes, but in one scene he's standing next to that "bella" chick, and he's about as wide as her (meaning a 19 year old actress).

not a knock on him, he looked hot, but let's not forget, brad pitt was 155 lbs in fight club.

you said a year, but those pictures look like he was about 14-15 in the first one to 19-20 in the second

as for if he juiced, doubt it, you can usually tel by the traps and shoulders, but it is not out of the realm of possibility....people in hollywood need to alter their bodies quickly for roles.......there is nothing that they are above doing

He got a role, career, $$$, and nominated from an oscar.
Risk to reward leans to the possibility of roids.
