House show is an unbroadcasted and event thats not on TV. That's where the real money is for the WWE. Some people think that they only have 3 shows a week but the truth is that they have 10-15 shows every day at different venues.

A house show would usually consist of a mix of jobbers wrestling the majority events and then the main event would be one or two WWE superstars that are featured on TV. House shows are unscripted and are not part of a storyline however if a superstar is injured, a house show is sometimes used to change titles to another superstar.

If you never heard of him or seen him on TV, he's a jobber.

what i would like to know is how, and why, is the steroid policy selectively enforced

the bigger name draws like randy orton, buatista, and of course HHH are obviously on liberal amounts of anabolics and have been for years

but other guys are getting in trouble

is it as simple as vince or other brass fixing the tests for the big stars, or is it more of an unspoken thing, or is a doping thing where the top guys now have go to extremes to pass drug screens??

The steroid policy in the WWE is enforced the same as the IFBB and they really don't care about it. However, the main concern is for painkillers and illegal drugs like oxycontin, marijuana, cocaine, etc because a wrestler under the influence can really fuck someone up if they work the show wrong.

i was under the impression that they WERE testing for steroids in the WWE now...........thats why the majority of pro wrestlers have all lost ALOT of weight in the last couple of years. and the new guys coming up arent blown up like they used to be

Jobbers are only at house shows where those guys listed would actually be the main event and they didn't get nothing. Nah, you are referring to old-school. There aren't anymore Mulkey's or Iron Mike Sharpe's.....thats why you see guys on that list jobbing at house shows and on TV....the old jobber reference is gone.

Jobber's will always be around no matter what because the WWE wants to run as many shows a day as possible which is what they do

Not in the way it once was.....example, here is a link to a WWE houseshow in Birmingham, Al......the opener has Santino Marella def. Chavo Guerrero....Chavo is pulling down $200k and he "jobbed" as the curtain jerker.

the whole connotation for a "jobber" in the WWE is very different than the old territory days, or even the indy circuit. Sure, on occasion, they might tap some local talent, but it's not the norm. In the old days you would see two jobbers going at it to open, a jobber vs someone they are trying to get over in the middle and then main eventers in the top couple of matches......doesn't happen anymore. And the TV "jobbers" are the ones on the salary list I posted before....hardly $30k a yr guys.

I don't keep up with scheduling but they were running a bunch of shows a while back. Economy is most likely to blame however this list doesn't show the events done by WWE development territories.
