That was cool interview with Oscar Arden. For a change someone who knows the mental aspect of bodybuilding preparation, Kai's not so secret weapon. I wonder how many pros would've been seeking him to help them out?  Oscar seems pretty cool. How much longer till he gets more "clients"? |

Jay Cutler goes from Flex to MD
Kai Greene goes from MD to Flex
Sometimes the fit can be better with a different magazine, or gets a better deal.
In any case, congrats to Kai from joining Flex Magazine.
This year's Olympia is going to be a major battle -

Having the rights to photo shoots, videos and comments heading for the 2010 Mr. Olympia for Kai, who may just win the O, is not a bad thing at all...

for a while there it kinda looked like flex was falling off, MD was signing all these legenda, and up-and-coming talent..........and in a few short moves, flex might arguably have th e advantage
MD had kia, branch, then got jay......on top of that had a bunch of young guys
then flex got kai, and they already have phil, dennis wolf, and zack khan........now they look to be aligning them selves well for the next couple of years

I believe it was Julian Schmidit doing a write up for the New York pro. His quote was: "Kai Greens meteoric rise to the top, has been about as refreshing as a tall cold glass of Grapefruit Juice." And then after some commentary basically states that Green is a bit overrated and lacks the muscle maturity, and structure to be a top level contender. This exact quote was recited to Kai in the Ron Harris interview I mentioned, where Green blew off Flex as rubbish for non-serious bodybuilders. But wait... its his DREAM to be a Weider athlete, once they offer to pay him. |
