Shane is nowhere near the guys FM has faced. Mayweather gets away with a lot of stuff in the ring. Shane knows it. Zab found the way to giving FM problems but fuked up later on just being Zab...and Shane is Zab with all the talent AND with a brain. I see Shane winning the same way Hopkins beat Trinidad!
Zab also sparred a ton of rounds with floyd out in vegas prior to their bout during one of floyds "open sparring sessions" to all comers.
This was revealed later when his uncle was getting suspended..etc for the ring violation. They knew exactly how he'd come out and exactly what zab would resort to later because he did the same in sparring.
No defending floyd by any means, but shane has never in his career even faced a slick boxer imo. I would say collazo would probably be the closest to a slick guy he's faced and that is me pushing it big time. The cotto match everybody though cotto would stand there and trade as normal, do body work...nope...he fought slick and boxed shane, turned him, ran his combinations and stepped to his left or right...movement...and shane lost.
Had cotto fought his normal style..shane easily KO's him IMO, but they didn't.
Hop vs trinidad was simply a front leg heavy straight forward guy that needs to be set vs a defensive boxer setting up traps and countering off aggression. If anything floyd will be hopkins and shane will be Tito.
