Basically all the new law does is grant the State of Arizona the Rights that the Feds have.

FYI the State of Arizona is having problems, innocent people are being murdered by Illegals crossing over their property, and most citizens of Arizona want this new law, but since poor little 240 was held for a few hours, lets not allow the citizens of Arizona the right to protect themselves, and while we are at it, lets make it against the law for the feds ( ICE and the Border Patrol) to arrest Illegals as well, so 240 can feel better.

I didn't make it anything.  I post supporting evidence that having these people here is good for our economy and posed the question that for a bunch of fiscal conservatives they sure do quit the fiscal part pretty quick when coloured people are involved.

BTW i don't get all this anti-immigration sentiment on here. Considering the amount of fiscal conservatives who seem to be opposed to amnesty and immigration from the south.  It seems at odds with the real numbers done by real studies.  Currently more than half are currently working on the books, i.e. paying income tax.  They all pay taxes on goods and services used including accommodation, in a comprehensive study it was found that "approximately $80,000 more in taxes than they receive in state, federal and local benefits over their life times".  

Yeah, you did, that statement has nothing to do with the issue.  Plenty of Americans don't want law breakers here...it isn't about an economic situation, it's about laws and our security.  You miss the entire point with your fiscal talk.  While I don't totally agree with Arizona's law, I fully and completely understand their predicament and fear of the people that actually have to deal with the problem on a daily basis.  There should be no reason that any American citizen should fear to leave their home because of a foreign invader, and yes, that is what they are when they jump the border illegally.

Once again, as I have posted before...even if we do grant amnesty there is no way to enforce the penalties and that is also not a fix to the problem which is the border security in the first place.  I hope you see my point...people are concerned with our safety with people being able to just walk on over and get lost from the government.
