how many Billions are spent on their little toys, which serve no purpose whatsoever in helping americans in any way. first the fucking Rover thing that cost like 2 billion dollars and had a lifespan of like 15 minutes then was just left on the moon, now this stupid multimillion dollar 'ballon' which crashes and blows up upon launch (LOL owned)....fuck Space, why dont we put these untold billions towards fixing the issues we have right here on earth first

The R&D at NASA is great. A lot of car safety features come from NASA R&D. The same for those temperpedic beds.

We just spent a trillion dollars and wasted lives on an unnecessary war in Iraq.

A few billion given to NASA is a better way to spend our money.

It's all worth it. With all the government spending going on we should be happy some is going to something halfway worthwhile. In the past 10 years so many interesting things have been discovered. We are getting cose to discovering some of the universe's deepest secrets.

Anyways Hubble has taken legendary photographs. Like my favorite the sombrero galaxy! They're all in black and white originally w/color added in butthey still kick ass. Especially after a joint or two.

you do know that those pics are taken in black and white, and then edited to add colors? that's not what space really looks like.
