I was a knucklehead ,when I had my daughter,I knew games would have to stop..I finished school,bought my home(with mom and dads help) and opened my own business.. You need to have some money put away,when the baby cries,there's no wait til I get paid friday.. My son is my absolute best friend! We work out together,then go to the boxing club afterwards.. Crazy,to see them grow from babies to beautiful,handsome grown ups... But worth all the struggle and sacrifice..

a buddy of mine just had a kid a few months back. he told me about a month before his girl gave birth he balooned up with water retention.. very noticeable effect.

there has been some studies done on this before, child birth being related to increased estrogen levels in men

It happens to the best of us, I know when I'm with my cousins and shit for family functions I think ...hey wouldn't it be cool to have my son/daughter just hanging out with all their cousins playing and what not... then (most of the time) I think about when I go home from work, thinking ..thank God , I don't have some wife wondering why I'm working late ( cause I have to) thinking I'm fucking some other girl, or having a kid asking if Daddy is home yet or not being able to vacation somewhere far away and get plastered with dudes names 'X-factor' from the internet or even just lighting up a blunt in the living room while I check my tube8 updates from 240. Having a kid is great, but one needs to be prepared to leave all the other 'stuff' behind....

Getting prego, announcing said pregnancy, showers, congrats, baptisms, pictures, etc.......it's all attention whoring at the highest level and the said child asks for NOTHING!

I've always made it a point of NEVER saying congratulations to a pregnancy. Not to friends, strangers, family, nobody. It's not like it's a huge accomplishment or anything special. Anyone can knock a chick up or get knocked up. Yet, they all expect the glamour and congratulatory attention. Disgusting.

 The other hard part is that not only am I selfish but wife is selfish with our time.  If I want to train for 2 hours at night I can, and my wife can go get her nails done and hair.  If we want to take off to Aruba for a week we just do it and don't think twice.
